Puppy Bonding Visits

For families who already have a puppy reserved or want to meet one before reserving

Waiting for Gotcha Day can feel like forever. Our Puppy Bonding Visits give families who already have a deposit on a puppy dedicated, private time with their future family member before they're old enough to come home. They're also a great option for families who want to meet and spend one-on-one time with a puppy before making a reservation.

Your puppy is only this little once, and these visits give you an opportunity to be part of those early weeks instead of simply waiting for them to pass.

During your private visit, you can cuddle, play, take photos and videos, and begin getting to know your puppy's developing personality. These positive, age-appropriate interactions also give your puppy an opportunity to become familiar with the voices, scents, and gentle handling of the people they'll soon call family.

60-Minute Puppy Bonding Visit — $60

A full hour of private time for your family and your reserved puppy. Cuddle, play, take photos, ask questions, and enjoy getting acquainted before the big day.

90-Minute Puppy Bonding Visit — $90

For families who want a little extra puppy time, our extended visit gives you 90 relaxed minutes to bond, play, capture memories, and enjoy this fleeting stage of puppyhood. Only one family is scheduled at a time, allowing your visit to remain calm, personal, and focused on your puppy.

Maybe you're not ready to bring home a puppy. Maybe your kids have been begging to play with puppies. Or maybe you've had a long week and an hour surrounded by tiny paws and puppy kisses sounds like exactly what you need. We understand.

Our Puppy Cuddles Visit is for families who do not have a deposit on a puppy but would still love the opportunity to experience some of the puppy magic at Australian Cattle Dog Island.

For $100 per family, you'll have a full hour to interact, play, and cuddle with as many puppies as are available from the litter.

Yes, you read that correctly. An hour. With puppies. Lots of puppies.

Bring the family, take pictures, get down on the floor, play, laugh, and soak up all the puppy cuddles you can handle.

Puppy Cuddles Visit — $100

60 minutes for the whole family. Limit 6 family members. $20 for each additional family member.

Meet Avanna, The Dogmother

Your Puppy Visit Session at Australian Cattle Dog Island will be hosted by Avanna The Dogmother Pet Care, who will help make your experience relaxed, enjoyable, and puppy-focused from beginning to end.

Avanna will be there to guide interactions, answer questions, help families get comfortable with the puppies, and, most importantly, make sure the experience remains positive and age-appropriate for the pups.

Keeping Our Puppies Happy & Healthy

As much as we love sharing our puppies with families, their health, comfort, and well-being always come first.

All Puppy Visit Sessions are available by appointment only and are scheduled according to the puppies' age and developmental stage.

Families are asked to arrive on time for their appointment so visits can remain calm and positive and the puppies have appropriate time to eat, sleep, play, and rest between all that cuddling.

Availability will depend on our current litters and the puppies' ages.
