Official Statement Regarding Recent False Claims

Whiteduck Mountain Kennel has been in business for over 18 years and we have been a state-licensed kennel since 2012 which means our facility and records are regularly inspected to ensure we meet all required standards of care.

Occasionally, responsible breeders must decline to sell a puppy when serious concerns or red flags arise. Recently, we made the decision to refuse a sale to an individual named Bill P., also known as Will P., based on such concerns.

Following our refusal to do business, this individual posted statements online claiming that our kennel "deceived" or "scammed" him. These claims are FALSE.

For clarity:

*No deposit was ever accepted from this individual

*No deposit contract was ever signed

*No transaction ever took place

*Our communication began and ended with a phone call and text message

Despite this, Will P. statements were written in a way that suggests a deposit was taken and a contract was made which is completely UNTRUE and harmful to our business reputation built over 18 years.

Because of the seriousness of these false accusations, we will be pursuing the appropriate steps through the court system. Whiteduck Mountain Kennel does not tolerate bullying, harrassment, slander, or defamation directed at our business.

If someone believes it is acceptable to post false statements online about a small business, it raises concern that the same individuals' behavior could affect other individuals and their businesses as well

We remain committed to doing what is best for our puppies and the families who adopt them. Our screening process means that not everyone who contacts us will be approved to purchase a puppy, but it also ensures that families who are approved and place a deposit are GUARANTEED a puppy.

Over the past 18+ years, we have built a strong reputation across the United States and internationally, and we regularly speak with potential families around the world before placing our puppies.
